Problem: There is a profound lack of qualified and available service professionals trained to fulfill the interpretive needs of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. Furthermore, there is no central repository of those who are available to help meet this need. As a result, a valuable, limited resource may go unrecognized despite a real and worthy need -- all from lack of coordination.

Goal: Provide a free, national database of Sign Language Interpreter's to improve the coordination and availability of interpreters on a local, state and national level.
